ChlR1 protein encoded by the DDX11 gene is currently in the centre of my research activity. It is a protein engaged in different aspects of replication and I am exploring the effects of its deregulation in different cellular backgrounds utilizing inducible human epithelial cell lines. I am particularly focused on genomic instability induced by ChlR1/DDX11 overexpression.
